Chief Finance Officer
Kyle Blomquist is studying theatre design and production at ASU. Since 2008, he has been involved in local theatre—first as a young actor with Spotlight Theater Ministries, and more recently as an actor, director, and scenic carpenter with Brevity Troupe and the ASU School of Film, Dance, and Theatre.
Kyle joined Brevity Art in 2015 as an actor in The Importance of Being Earnest. He loves the friendships that form during the course of a production, and working on projects with other people is his favorite way of getting to know them. As he puts it, “Theatre is like a friendship machine that also brings a bunch of people together to watch a show, so it’s a net-positive experience, all things considered.”
Kyle began his role as Brevity’s CFO late in 2018. On his position, Kyle says, “Everyone needs a backbone. Life is worse without one. I am glad to support Brevity in this way, and I’m having a blast learning how to use spreadsheets effectively. What? No, I’m not being sarcastic.”
